 Consider a sharpening subscription. This plan allows 4 large knives (5" + blade) to be sharpened unlimited times and at any time for the price of three. If the blades are 5" or less, you can bring up to 7 knives, no appointment necessary*.  

You can bring additional knives, charged at normal pricing.
$29 Automatically charged every 6 months. 

 
Normally, Four Chef Knives costs $36 to sharpen.
